As the founder of Habit, Benedikt Bouillon brings two decades of hands-on international hospitality experience to every project. He is a sought-after guest speaker at conferences and is recognised for delivering practical, results-focused insights that teams can apply immediately.

Benedikt’s career began on the floor as a waiter, porter, and receptionist before rising to lead ultra-luxury lodges Matakauri and Kauri Cliffs. His journey took him from Germany to London, Vienna, Melbourne, and New Zealand, working with international brands such as Mandarin Oriental and Marriott Luxury Collection, as well as boutique venues like the Adelphi Hotel and Waiheke Island’s Stonyridge Vineyard.

This combination of global luxury expertise and local leadership experience shapes the grounded, practical approach that defines Habit today.
